Japanese GP Qualifying: Sebastian Vettel takes superb Ferrari pole

Since the tables turned favourites Mercedes to seal a surprise front-row lockout sebastian Vettel procured a pole position for the GP at the delayed qualifying of Sunday.
At a session that was pushed back by 19 hours because of this Super Typhoon Hagibis, Vettel aced Q3 in the sunshine with two excellent laps – that were both quicker than anything that his rivals managed – to claim his first pole because the Canadian GP, also Ferraris fifth in a row.

While Romain Grosjean along with Pierre Gasly are also pleased to begin at the race, which they only have three hours in the top-10 The two McLarens made it through to Q3, with Carlos Sainz once again ahead of Lando Norris.
Even though the typhoon passed in Suzuka and the sun was shining, there were still conditions and these winds captured outside Kevin Magnussen and Robert Kubica at the start of the session.
Both drivers crashed into the barriers at the last corner since Q1 was twice.
Haas and williams really have a huge job on their hands to get their cars ready for the race with a short turnaround.
Renault, meanwhile, was a nightmare qualifying as Daniel Ricciardo was pumped out in Q1, while Nico Hulkenberg had been just a location in 15th above him and suffered a problem during Q2.
