New Zealand back-row ahead Luke Jacobson was ruled out of this World Cup because of concussion.
Jacobson played Tonga last week and went with the squad for the championship in Japan, but the Blacks stated the 22-year-old had endured a”delayed start of concussion”.
New Zealand Coach Steve Hansen stated this past week the participant showed symptoms following their first training session.
Shannon Frizell will, replaces jacobson, with two caps.
„After discussing this latest episode with Luke, as well as our healthcare staff, the decision has been made to, regrettably, withdraw him from the tournament,” Hansen informed the All Blacks website.
„All of us felt the ideal thing for him to do so is to take a break from rugby until he is symptom-free and prepared to return”
