Royals vs. Orioles MLB Pick – August 19th
The Kansas City Royals had a chance to beat the New York Mets in their three-game series over the weekend, but allowed things to get away on Sunday afternoon. Going into the inning with a 4-3 lead, the Mets poured it around with 6 runs to go comfortably by a score of 9-4. Sunday afternoon they go on to get a 11-5 victory. What looked like was going to be quite a near one turned into a blowout.
If the Mets bats are swinging down like that down the stretch, then you might want to pencil them. The crime is their question mark, which is an unit for them in 2019. Its tough to bet against the rotation which they have to throw at hitters.
The Royals proceed to get a meaningless series against the Orioles with a trip to Baltimore. Meaningless in the feeling that this game does not have any influence on this postseason. It is essentially a spring match, with Orioles and the Royals getting a peek at a number of their ability. Theyre already scouting for a 2020 lineup. Do not expect much progress from side next season.
Baltimore are getting a fantastic look as the newcomer will be receiving his 24th appearance tonight. He pitched in 3.1 innings to receive a taste of big league action every day. This year the Orioles have contributed Means an extended opportunity as a starter.

John Means is attempting to keep it together down the stretch. He pitched so especially for a beginner, but Means has discovered that beating league is not likely to be easy all of the time. It can be a marathon for a whole great deal of young pitchers who arent used to pitching this considerably. Means has been throttled.

We all know that he probably is not likely to get much help from the bullpen, who are dead last in the majors with a 6.08 ERA. Lopez will seek just his second win of the year tonight.
Lopez has had opportunities to stay in a turning because 2015, but was unable to find the work done. As he looks nothing has changed for him personally in 2019. Lopez enters Monday with a 6.51 ERA along with 1.55 WHIP. Hes gotten punished for a 15.75 ERA, 2.62 WHIP, also .511 OBA within his last 3 starts.
Lopez has spent most of his time from the bullpen this year and has been promoted to start from the Tigers. He had been missing because he has exposed for 4 earned runs in 1.1 innings. Baltimore are hitting .429 using a .500 OBP . The is not likely to suddenly figure out it at Baltimore tonight. This looks like a nice spot to get the ticket to money.
