His first goal was scored by robert Glatzel as the Bluebirds hit to hold Derby in a 1-1 draw at Pride Park on Friday afternoon.
Scott Malone landed an early setback when he tapped home Martyn Waghorn’s pass (6), but Glatzel scored his first goal as a summer move from FC Heidenheim in the penalty spot (19) to level the Sky Bet Championship match at the break.
2 minutes after the restart, Jack Marriott swivelled 20 metres out and turned a shot off the crossbar, while Glatzel might have added a second with a header but also for Matt Clarke’s last-ditch clearance.
An open match intended a draw was, possibly, a outcome, though the Rams remain leaving them 18th while Cardiff are to win on the road this term.
