Benjamin Mendy included in Manchester City squad for Shakhtar Donetsk Champions League game

Benjamin Mendy has been included in Manchester City’s squad for their Champions League game.
The left-back had operation on a knee issue which sidelined him for most last year and the beginning of this effort.
Mendy has recently stepped up his comeback from the accident and Pep Guardiola explained he will return”in the next few games”.
But it appears that the Frenchman is back ahead of schedule as he would feature in their Champions League tie.
Youngster Phil Foden was left out of this 21-man travelling group, together with the midfielder perhaps not”fully fit” according to this club.
New City signings Scott Carson, Angelino and Joao Cancelo have been included in the team for the club’s opening Champions League tie of the year.
Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte are equally long-term absentees.
