Anik Shines in SuperContest Despite Rough Week Overall for Team Odds Shark
After an next week in the supreme Football Challenge in the Golden Nugget, Team Odds Shark fought on college and pro picks overall into an 11-17 record and came down to ground. The preceding week this after Harry Gagnon Cousin Sal and brothers Darren and Brian Szokoli combined to move 23-5. But, UFC commentator Jon Anik turned with a 4-1 mark in his very best performance of the year in the NFL-only SuperContest to proceed to 10-5 overall from the world football handicapping contest.
While Gagnon was 2-5 to fall out of a tie for first place both Szokoli brothers and sal went 3-4 in Week 3 of the Ultimate Football Challenge. Northwestern turned into a particularly disappointing result, together with three of those picking the Wildcats as 9.5-point home underdogs in a 31-10 loss to the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday. Michigan also performed poorly for Gagnon and Brian Szokoli, as the Wolverines were routed 35-14 by the Wisconsin Badgers as 3.5-point road underdogs. Gagnon was 1-4 at the NFL.
The NFL has not been the strong suit of the team up to now this year between SuperContest, the supreme Football Challenge along with Circa Sports Million, however, Anik was undoubtedly a bright place with a Week 3. He picked winners around the Detroit Lions (+6), Indianapolis Colts (-1.5), New York Giants (+6.5) and Los Angeles Rams (-3). His one loser was that the Seattle Seahawks (-4) at a 33-28 home loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Joe Fortenbaugh moved to maneuver within the .500 markers at 8-7. Fortenbaugh had winners on the Baltimore Ravens (+6.5), Houston Texans (+3.5), Indianapolis Colts (-1.5) and Los Angeles Rams (-3). His lone collapse was around the Arizona Cardinals (-2).
Yet another positive has been Odds Shark Jon Campbell and Clay Travis’ duo at the William Hill College Pick’em contest. Travis and campbell each went to increase their year documents to 12-9 and 13-8 . Alas, the 1 pick they shared was that the UCF Golden??Knights (-11.5), who were angry 35-34 from the Pittsburgh Panthers to end their 27-game regular-season winning series.
