With no UFC event this weekend, we all get to look into our crystal ball and have an early look at some futures odds, specifically the two title fights scheduled for UFC 220 (Jan. 20th, Boston). I am literally wearing my wizard hat right now [editor’s note: he actually is] and that I should be, because we’re on a magic roll folks! If you’re not excited about UFC 220, then you’ve got no pulse. You are literally dead and needs to be packed on ice. How can you not be stoked to see among the most anticipated heavyweight championship fights in UFC history? The outcome, history is going to be made.
Stipe Miocic will be defending his heavyweight crown against rising superstar Francis Ngannou and I am pretty sure someone is going to be looking straight up in the lights when it’s all said and done.
On the card, Daniel Cormier will be defending his light-heavyweight title against hard-hitting Volkan Oezdemir. Can we see an upset and the crowning of a fresh light-heavyweight king? Or will Cormier once more show us why he is one of the greatest to ever step foot into an Octagon?
