Solheim Cup: Europe claim stunning one-point win at Gleneagles
Suzann Pettersen and Bronte Law held their nerve in the last stages of the 16th Solheim Cup to grab a 141/2- 131/2 victory for Europe in Gleneagles.
Pettersen, whose selection for a wildcard was met with gentle criticism, entirely justified her addition as she holed the winning putt from six feet to conquer Marina Alex on the final hole, moments after Law had closed out of a 2&1 win over Ally McDonald on the 17th green.
