Formula 1 reveals plan to stage Miami race at Dolphins stadium

Formula 1 says its an agreement in principle with the proprietors of the Miami Dolphins NFL arena to maintain a race in the Florida town from 2021.
It is the most recent development in an effort US firm Liberty Media, by F1s owners .
The proposal includes a track layout looping around the Dolphins Hard Rock Stadium in Miami that is central.
Organisers face a set of hurdles before the race takes place, including approval by Miami-Dade County.
There has been community resistance to holding a grand prix.
A previous effort by F1, which comprised a track in Miami that travelled into back and Miami Port over a bridge, has already foundered after issues about interruptions to business brought on by the building of the race track.
The proposition is all on property owned by Stephen Rosso, the proprietor of American soccer franchise Miami Dolphins. As the event looks like the short lived Ceasars Palace Grand Prix that has been held twice in a car park of the casino in Las Vegas in 1981 and82.
In their announcement, F1 manager Sean Bratches and Tom Garfinkel, the first executive of Hard Rock Stadium, emphasised the advantages.
With a quote annual impact of over $400m and 35,000 area nighttime, the F1 Miami Grand Prix is going to be an economic juggernaut for South Florida each year, the statement said.
