UMass vs. Rutgers Pick – NCAAF Week 1

The UMass Minutemen travel to the birthplace of college football.

This isn’t likely to bring the crowd or viewers, but there appears to be a moneymaking opportunity in New Jersey. Rutgers’ head coach, Chris Ash, is on the hot seat in 2019. I don’t know if there is anything that can save him besides a step in the direction.

Sitkowski was the worst starting quarterback in the nation. He ended 4 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. Some of his interceptions were thoughts terrible decisions. The Scarlet Knights may have finished with a record of 1-11 final season, but place an adequate quarterback on their team and they beat Northwestern, Indiana, and Michigan State. It and A quarterback would have been shut against Penn State. Penn State won 20-7, but not before Sitkowski awarded them points.
Rutgers only win was a win against Texas State in the season opener. They get a UMass staff that is lot worse to start the entire year in 2019. UMass went 4-8 last season, which was not a dreadful season. The Minutemen go into 2019 having missing a lot of talent from last season. The playmaker they’d, Andy Isabella, got drafted from the second-round by the Cardinals. He has gone along with a Great Deal of other people on UMass.

Brito is 5’10” and can be really a pro-style quarterback. If you’re that little, you have some running ability. Brito prefers to sit at the pocket. West committed to UMass and has seen limited action. He’s passed 45 yards on 3-of-7 departure in his college career.
When there was anything Rutgers did last season it had been on defense. They could not have a powerhouse but Northwestern, Penn State, Michigan State, and Indiana were all held below 25 points. The talent level between those apps and UMass is not even remotely near. They have superior offenses compared to this 2019 Minutemen.
The defense will be led from the secondary by mature Damon Hayes and sophomore Avery Young. Whoever receives the telephone at QB for UMass, they’re likely to have a great deal of issues moving the ball on the Scarlet Knights. Nobody has starting experience, let alone encounter against a Big Ten unit.
The way Rutgers are going to become a better team than last year. This team in 2018 blew Texas State, that are far much better compared to the UMass squad out. It’s going to be an embarrassing style for the Knights if Rutgers doesn’t win by at least 20 points within UMass. UMass are going to be a base 5 team in 2019.
