New Zealand back-row ahead Luke Jacobson has been ruled out of the World Cup because of concussion.
Jacobson played against Tonga last week and went with the squad for the tournament in Japan, but the Blacks stated the 22-year-old had endured a”delayed start of concussion”.
New Zealand Coach Steve Hansen stated this past week, the participant showed symptoms after their first training session.
Jacobson, with two caps, will likely be substituted by Shannon Frizell.
„After discussing this newest episode with Luke, as well as our healthcare team, the choice has been made to, regrettably, withdraw him from the championship,” Hansen told the All Blacks site.
„We all felt that the best thing for him to do so is to have a break from rugby until he’s symptom-free and prepared to return.”
